What’s New on the 2020 Honda Accord Sedan?

April 5th, 2021 by

There isn’t a whole lot that’s new on the 2020 Honda Accord. But that’s not a bad thing. The ever-popular sedan was completely redesigned just two years ago.

The 2020 Honda Accord has a sleek technology integrated interior and sporty exterior. With a 30 city/38 hwy EPA mpg rating.*

What can you expect from the 2020 Honda Accord?

What can you expect from the 2020 Honda Accord? Unmatched reliability, as always, along with eye-catching good-looks and turbocharged performance.

Six trim levels are available for 2020: LX, Hybrid, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring. So, there’s bound to be an Accord to fit your lifestyle and budget.

The 2020 Honda Accord shatters the stereotype that sedans have to be boring. Design cues, such as a fastback-inspired roofline, athletic stance and available LED lighting, help the four-door stand out wherever it goes.

Inside, you’ll find the interior – with its soft-touch materials and a long list of amenities – to be equally as striking. Occupants are treated to a lengthy list of features, including available leather-trimmed seats, Active Noise Cancellation and climate-controlled front seats. There’s also plenty of room for gear, thanks to the 16.7 cu. ft. of cargo space (rear seats upright) and 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback.

Turbocharged performance comes standard on all 2020 Honda Accord models. LX, Sport, EX and EX-L variants come standard with a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine (192 hp, 192 lb.-ft.). A turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder (252 hp, 273 lb.-ft.) is standard on the Touring; available on the Sport and EX-L.

The Accord is a true driver’s car, which is why it still offers a 6-speed manual transmission on Sport models. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) comes standard on the LX, Sport, EX and EX-L models. There’s also a 10-speed automatic transmission that’s available on the Sport, as well as the EX-L. The unit comes standard on the Touring trim.

In keeping with tradition, all 2020 Honda Accord models are front-wheel drive.

The new Honda Accord sedan is as advanced as it looks. Onboard, you’ll find the latest technology options, including a wireless phone charger, a head-up display and Wi-Fi. There’s also a touchscreen multimedia center with available Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, as well as navigation.

All 2020 Honda Accord models come standard with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Inside the bundle, you’ll find:

Collision Mitigation Braking with pedestrian sensing
Lane Keeping Assist
Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
Automatic high-beam headlights
A Multi-Angle Rearview Camera
Additional available driver-assistance features include blind spot information (BSI) and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
